It’s a useful tip that soft-top suitcases are more easily stored under cabin beds than the rigid frame variety. If you have a soft-top it may help you maximise cabin space for your comfort.

Accepted payment methods include cash, travellers’ cheques or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). We regret that we are unable to accept Maestro or Switch on board.

Ashore (Transatlantic cruises): Euros, US dollars and Brazilian Reals.
**Your clothes:
Simply pack for your cruise as you would for any holiday in a good, but informal hotel.
For on board bring casual summer clothes for the day and smart casual for evenings. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers in some of the restaurants.
Some warm clothing may be needed for evenings on deck. Soft shoes or flip-flops would also be useful as the decks may be slippery!
For ashore, comfortable shoes for walking and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for shore excursions to places of worship.
Majorca and Rio de Janeiro hotels: Smart casual for evening meals. Some hotels request gentlemen to wear long trousers in the restaurants.
The “Don’t Bring” Checklist
