St Lucia
Things to do & places to see
A small, lush, tropical gem, St Lucia's dramatic twin Pitons soar up from the sea and shelter magnificent rainforests where giant ferns, wild orchids and birds of paradise all flourish. Make sure you visit the island's volcano too - it's the only one on the planet with a drive-in crater.

Snorkel Delight
Leaving the port you will cruise along the western coastline of the island to one of the snorkel sites within the Marine Park where there is a labyrinth of shallow reefs and coral heads that act as the habitat for schools of French Grunts, Goat Fish, Jacks and Snappers. Other fish that can be seen there in abundance are Parrot, Trumpet, Peacock Flounders and Rock Fish.
A variety of eels - black, moray, golden spotted and sharp nose can also be seen. Octopus and lobsters can be seen at times lodged in the rocks along with sea urchins, starfish, sand divers and flying gurnard. Some lucky snorkelers at times have seen turtles and Southern Sting Rays in the sandy areas. If your legs begin to tire there is easy access to the beach for those who wish to rest. A light snack is served on board after this exciting time spent in the water.N.B. A trained snorkeling guide always accompanies the group. Time spent in the water is approximately 1 hour and the snorkel boat is moored in close proximity to the snorkelers for easy access if they so desire.
